About Ultra Jazzy

Ultra Jazzy joins team Chaffin as a convert from the world of eventing.  Already possessing an impressive resume through Preliminary Eventing, Jazzy enters our collective journey at the beginning of his dressage career.

Update: In late 2020, Jazzy galloped across the Rainbow Bridge.  During his too-short tenure as a dressage horse, Jazzy qualified for and competed at Region 9 USDF championships all three years I owned him, from training level through third level, collecting all the scores to earn a bronze medal. Jazzy qualified for National Championships at training, first and second level, won USDF All Breeds Reserve Champion at second level, and won AQHA Dressage All Breeds Reserve Champion medal in 2019, adding to his already impressive resume as a Preliminary eventer. Together we participated in dressage clinics with Shannon Dueck, Conrad Schumacher, Whit Watkins, and Lyndon Rife. Andrea Attard found Jazzy for me, traveled with me to Pennsylvania to try him and vet him, trained him and me, and walked with us daily through both the darkest moments and the best of many celebrations. The Little Seahorse taught me much, and I am grateful for the gift he was in my life.
